This project centres on challenging presumptions. My identified presumption was the stereotypical idea that men should reject anything that is considered to be feminine - such as going to a bar and drinking cocktails. This is because they may be faced with ridicule or backlash. Therefore, I created a cocktail menu with a twist. Each cocktail is a toxic masculinity trait that society unfortunately pressure men to behave like. The aim within this project is to defy toxic masculinity, challenge gender norms, and encourage all of society to look beyond traditional stereotypes for men.
